my ramshorn was just put into the tank. he hasn't come out of his shell, he didn't in the bag either. they guy at the store had just got him, and he was just sitting on in the bag, like the rest of them. i put him in a place where he could easily grap onto the wall, but he still isn't comming out. my apple snail was latched onto the bag, and is now going over my tank looking for algae (and i will say he is finding a lot of it). if my ramshorn is dead, is he hurting the other fish? i just did a 25% water change, and i plan to do one tomorro two, since both this ramshorn snail, an apple snail, and another neon tetra were just introduced to the tank. everyone in the tank is acting like theyve been in there for years--except for the ramshorn. he is just sitting there. wat should i do??? can i wait till morning?

Running vs. Biking?

I personally enjoy both forms of cardio . I try to mix up my cardio routine every 12 weeks . If you want to increase your 40 you need to run hills , to increase your distance you need to constantly push yourself farther and farther . As for biking if your trying to burn calories hills are the way to go .

Theres this guy who I used to text and we could speak for hours it was a few times a week. Then 7 weeks later we stopped he stopped replying then christmas we started again but don't speak as long. He always using smileys in his texts to me and acts witty sonetimes. This guy goes to my school and in the year above. I had never spoken to him before then I spoke to him the other day I knew he would'nt do it first he looked in to my eyes as we spoke walking together and was smiling as we walked towards the lockers. Then a week later the next time he saw me he spoke to me first and my friend was there but he was talking to me same thing smiling looking in to my eyes. I haven't spoken to him in 2 weeks he had exams then we had a week off school. Today I was standingwaiting to go into cl with my friends and people. I was looknig at him and he had walked past then he saw me walked over and gave my friend(different one) a dictionary he borrowed he is friends with her brother. He looked at me before he gave it to her he didn't talk though. I see him alot at his locker its in a different area to mine shoukld I walk over and speak to him I don't always see him inbetween cles or in the corridor.. What do you think? and does he like me? These are questions I've often asked myself and others but ones that no-one can come with a "satisfying" answer for. These are issues and people that should definitely NOT be left alone: child abuse and its perpetrators should always be exposed, even more so when the person committing the abuse is using their job and status to somehow cover up or justify the abuse. A priest is someone people rely on to do the right thing, to set an example on how to treat others, a person in whose care parents trust their children in and so I think child abuse cases involving priests are particularly abhorrent.

What are the best running and sprinting shoes for a 14 year old boy?

I weigh a little more than 8 stones and am very slim and tall. My feet are normal and I have a normal pronation. I want shoes to sprint on gr, concrete and track. I am a fast runner for 100m, 200m and 400m. An average 100m time is roughly 12.69 seconds. I would prefer shoes that last long for lots of use and good comfort and speed. I will be using these trainers for my competition! There are so many brands and models such as nike - maxcatt...around the same price which confuses me. USAIN BOLT uses PUMA thesus 2, do you reckon I should buy the same, since he's the fastest 100m and 200m runner in the world.

It really just takes a lot of practice. You might look on youtube for Merle Travis lessons (since he influenced Chet and many others). Doc Watson also plays that style and has lessons available, but his main piece of advice is to "practice like the devil". Rory Block is a blues player but plays the alternating b line in many of her songs. It's funny how something that once seemed hard can become second nature if we practice enough. It helps to practice a song you know because you already know what it supposed to sound like. One good song to work on is Landslide by Fleetwood Mac because Lindsey Buckingham plays Merle Travis style guitar on it.

We took the binky (pacifier) from our 21 months old now she won't nap?

We threw a "Binky-Tossing Party" for her a little over a week ago and like a big girl threw her binkies away . She understands what it means to throw something away but is too young to understand the whole "we're sending it to babies who need it" concept. Anyways, the first few nights were awful but expected. Nights have become better but we're (and her daycare is) having a hard time getting her to nap during the day now. We have tried everything and she fights it tooth and nail. She is required to have a nap during the day at daycare and she's keeping other children in her cl awake from her tantrums. I don't know else what to do and neither do her teachers. We tried laying down with her, patting her /back, getting her attached to her taggy, music, etc...everything. Should we just cave and let her have it for her naps at daycare only so she gets a nap and the other kids can sleep as well?? Are there other things we haven't tried of that I don't know about? What are small finches that like to be held?

I dont think there are any finches that enjoy being held but I would say a hand fed lovebird would be a wonderful choice. They are affectionate,friendly,love to spend time with you(more likely so if it is only one lovebird), and great escape artists. No they are not hard to care for, i find it easy but i just own one lovebird, so maybe one hand fed lovebird would be better because if you get 2, they will want to focus on eachother and not so much on the owner,but i find a pair of lovebirds will enjoy being on you if both are on at the same time. Was God simply lonely?

I've been thinking about this same thing lately. How could the Creator of all things and WHY would He actually come to the earth IN THE FLESH for us mortals? It's really beyond my brain. How to know when my puppy is being aggressive?

I have a 5 month old jack russell terrier who whenever she's a bit sleepy tends to be quite aggressive. If she's lying down and someone goes over to stroke her, she tends to go all stiff and tense, even if she's not asleep, just resting. She looks you in the eye and sometimes makes a noise under her breath, the thing is we don't know if this is growling or not. It looks like she doesn't like us stroking her when she's lying down but if we stop then she wags her tail and turns towards us. However, my friend went to stroke her the other day and she growled, but my friend continued thinking this was nothing and she tried to bite my friend. It was all very sudden and shocked all of us. Surely a puppy shouldn't be like this? She hasn't tried to bite any of us since but we are all very wary of her now, especially because of the way she looks at you, like in the corner of her eye and the noise she makes under her breath. I rate your progress at a 9 because it's more than what more people would do, trick capability is about a 6 though. I'm likly the flat land tricks though most people don't want to learn those but they can be fun to show off sometimes.

Here's a story for all the saps out there (I say that with respect :) ) Its a clic story. I'm just about 18, she turned 17 recently. She lives right down the street, and more often than not, I'm at her house. I can walk into her house without knocking and if she's not there either her mom or her sister or her brother will be there and they treat me just like family. Out of all of her incredible traits, she has a large flaw: She is dating an idiot. (PS this sounds like a corny love story I'm making up but you've gotta just believe me) He and she have gotten together and broken up at least four times, honestly I've lost count. Everytime things go sour between them I'm always there for her, for comfort, for a shoulder to cry on, and for a listening ear. I know she appreciates it, and I feel tremendous satisfaction in helping her feel better, but then she goes off and just starts the whole cycle over again! Then she throws a pillow into my lap and lays her head in the pillow, and puts her hand up onto my leg, like you would if you were sleeping, but also kind of like an invitation, and I took it. I laid my hand on hers and sort of stroked her back with the other. It was an awkward position for me but honestly I didn't care! She had never done anything like this before with me, EVER. And the best part was she didn't flinch away or anything, maybe she even liked it, I dunno! I felt like the luckiest guy in the world! The rest of the movie party and afterwards was awesome, we got along so great like we always do and I fell asleep smiling huge. :-D Ever since she has changed a little with me. 16 month old strange rash for 2 weeks!any drs. or nurses?

As a nurse I would recommend heat not ice. you are most likely just sore because you are using muscles you do not normally use to that extent. you can also use a sports cream like ben gay. It is better that say icy hot. I would go to sports advisor tomorrow though. They will most likely have you have it x-rayed to make sure you did not fracture or break it. and most likely will give you a wrist support brace. you will be fine. nothing to be scared of at all. Best Skate Shoes for Cruising?
