Do you believe white privilege exists in America?

I am currently in a race relations course and we have been harping on White privilege in America ...and to be honest this whole semester I haven't really bought into the idea of whites being handed giveouts by default or being given a break just for being white. Until this weekend when I was pulled on the interstate by a state trooper doing 85 in a 65 and without even crying or pleading was given a warning. I mean the warning could be because I am a college aged blonde but on the same note I can't help but think if I would have been an African American or Latina woman I wouldn't have been given the same break.
