How does the movie Journey to the center of the earth relate to the reappearance of prehistoric fishes?

I just finished watching that movie couple days ago, and i went online to do a little research about that. I was really amazed when 3 characters got push to the earth by the force of steam during the eruption of volcano. This excited me so much, and it reminded me a hard question. Why the extinct fish call "coelacanth" (please look up this fish) reappear in 2004 and 2007?(a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coelacanth)" rel="nofollow"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coelacanth)/a Do you guy remember the tsunami of 2004. The eruption hit Indian Ocean, so my theory is those prehistoric fishes might live somewhere inside the earth. That is why the eruption in the ocean pushed them up to the ocean. You can prove because recently those fishes were found mostly by countries like Tanzania, Kenya, and Indonesia. These countries were AFFECTED by the 2004 tsunami. If you guys were future scientist, I would be very happy to receive your explanations. Once again, thanks for all your answer! I know it is too hypothetical, please don't offend or laugh at me!
