I tried to reinstall winxp after a crash i ume.PC restarts after set up is formating.er mess?

Stop:oxoooooo8E setupdd.sys.Taken out 1 mem mod...put it back in and switched the 2 everyway the can be switched.Still the same if Im lucky and it doesnt reboot way early in the install.HELP!!
