How strong of a case can you have if your strongest piece of evidence was accomplished via perpetual torture?

If i was in a jury i wouldnt give evidence like that any credit. Given enough time you can make someone believe anything you want. Torture somebody for a few months and even an innocent man can be made to believe that they actually commited a crime.
